THE BACKCOUNTRY FUND & SCHOLARSHIP
Thank you for your interest in Backcountry Medical Guides’ scholarship program! We believe that access to education is essential to every community and we strive to make the outdoors safer and more accessible for everyone. Through generous gifts and donors, we’ve been able to make that happen with full and partial scholarships granted to qualifying individuals, and a discounted rate for nonprofits.
By supporting the Backcountry Fund with a tax-deductible donation, 100 percent of your gift will go to program access, financial aid, and materials for those who could not afford it otherwise.
If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please fill out the scholarship form linked below. We accept scholarship applications and inquiries anytime, but we only review applications based on the quarterly schedule below:

July 1-July 15, 2026
October 1-October 15, 2026
